Book Week
Book Week was an adenturous and engaging celebration of reading and fun at Holroyd School. Students and staff embraced the theme Ignite your strengths, one page at a time through a range of exciting activities.
To start the week, every class created a poster showcasing their favourite book. These colourful posters transformed the hall into a vibrant gallery of reading inspiration.
One of the highlights was the Junior and Middle School book character parade. A special thank you to the many parents and carers who joined us for the occasion. We were also thrilled to welcome some surprise guests - Bluey, Bingo and R2D2 - who popped in for a visit, thanks to the generous support of Kidz Fix.
The celebrations wrapped up with a school-wide treasure hunt. Students followed clues hidden around the school, which ultimately led to the library. There, each adventurer discovered a prize waiting in the pirate's chest - a special 'treasure' to take home.
Book Week at Holroyd was a wonderful reminder of the joy of reading and the power of imagination.
