Yesterday the Premier announced that Campbelltown, Georges River and Parramatta local government areas (LGAs) have had a high level of community transmission of Covid-19 and greater restrictions would be introduced from midnight 28 July. As you are already aware, Cumberland has already been identified as an LGA of concern with tighter restrictions.
As our school is located in an identified LGA we want to remind you to keep your children at home unless you are an essential worker and your children cannot be educated at home. Our school will continue to be open but with an absolute minimum number of staff for supervision.
If you are working from home, your child is able to learn from home and should stay at home as directed by the NSW Health Public Health Order.
All students and families will be supported with learning from home materials and resources.
I want to thank all the families who have continued to support our community by keeping their children at home to minimise movement in the community. Get in touch with your teacher to discuss any additional needs for your child or family to support you to continue learning from home.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
