In light of today's media release and the new restrictions that will take place from midnight tonight, the Department of Education has issued the following guidelines:

- Parents and carers in Fairfield, Liverpool, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland and Blacktown LGAs must keep children - of all ages, across primary school, secondary school and early childhood education or care - at home unless they cannot be cared for or educated at home. Schools and outside of school hours care (OOSHC) services are open for any child that needs it.

-Schools in the identified LGAs will remain open with an absolute minimum of staff. Two staff are required on site (for safety reasons) and only as many additional staff as required to maintain supervision and to meet the immediate needs of the school. A member of the admin staff may also be on site.

We will continue to enhance our learning from home programs and stay in contact with the students and families.
