The Premier announced yesterday that the current restrictions in Greater Sydney will remain in place for at least another two weeks. This means that students will continue to learn from home until Friday 30 July.
I want to reassure you that Holroyd School remains open and student supervision will continue to be provided for families who need this support. However, it is strongly encouraged that you reduce mobility in the community by staying home during this period and engaging in remote learning with your children.
Thank you parents and carers for the support you have given to our staff this week as they change their mode of teaching. Your patience and understanding has been very much appreciated.
Your child's teacher will again make contact with you today or tomorrow morning to discuss the individual learning needs of your child over the next fortnight. The call will likely be made from a private number. If you miss the call, or have any further questions, please feel free to contact the school office during school hours.
Regards,
Kylee Thorson
Principal (rel)
